The New Red Dawn (2012) is supposed to be released Thanksgiving. Should be worth watching if you liked the original. They might have dumbed it down for our modern society but we'll see!

They already sanitized it by deleting the ChiComs as the invading foreign military force

I saw a movie in walmart today, (but I couldn't afford it this trip anyways $40) Call John Adams its an HBO film. Has anybody seen it? If its good I might buy it.

Yeah, I saw that -- Digitally modified and edited some to make the Chinese less of a force.. and replaced most of them with the N. Koreans. Supposedly so the movie could be sold in China. MGM had a bankruptcy yet they managed to edit the movie AFTER it was finished to make these changes... HMmmmmmmmmmmm

I remember watching that when it was on -- It wasn't bad. I can't speak to its historical accuracy (in part because I don't recall everything lol). Well, I was entertained anyway. There are places on the interwebs that you can watch it (probably Netflix too).

Same with Dune.
I grew up with the original 1984 version of this movie, which I always thought was pretty epic. I finally got around to watching the 2000 remake, and while I had trouble wrapping my mid around some of the actors, it was closer to the books. Speaking of the books...I'm up to Chapterhouse: Dune and its a fair bit scary how the issues they deal with there are still representative of the crap we are dealing with today.

It's been awhile and has been said already, but I must add that The Road is a great movie about Post-SHTF type scenario. It is very sad, and to those of us with soft hearts, I might add that it can be somewhat of a tear jerker; but over all a great film.

these are intentionally released to condition us to accept
and expect such degradation of humanity and quality
of life it's self! You notice these type of films never
ever say anything about the OMUR Aristocratic
supper class and how they've been orchestrating
such things in their Social Darwinism and eugenics
to exterminate well over 90% of the World's population
as an "Order out of Chaos" philosophy!

IMO the new red dawn was nowhere near as good as the original BUT there was one qoute that I thought was great.
